Ayyy~ My name is Kerri. I am a 31-year-old dweeb who lives in Atlanta with my 32-year old dork husband Mark, our small lady Luna, and our blue tabby Link.

When I’m not spending time with my cuties, I’m usually absorbed in one hobby or another. My hobbies include, but are not limited to, drawing, writing stories, playing video games, playing tabletop RPGs, reading regular novels and graphic novels, watching anime, cooking, decorating and organizing everything, learning new facts,  and finding new music, sci-fi, or fantasy creations to obsess over.

Overall, I’m just livin’ and chillin’ and whatnot. I’m sending good vibrations to the world ’cause we sure as fuck need it right now (LOL)! Take care!

Meet IMERUAT: Masashi Hamauzu and Mina Sakai!

I obsess over Masashi enough on here ( or maybe not enough >:] ), but I don’t talk enough about how much I love Mina’s vocals. It’s so pleasing to listen to. I especially love the way she sings in “Leave Me Alone” — my favorite track from IMERUAT after “Giant”. “Black Ocean” is another great track. If you’re a colossal instrumental/classical fanatic like me then I would start with “Giant”. Masashi is a divine entity when it comes to arranging songs that involve string instruments. This is one of those tracks that is proof of that. To appreciate Mina, though, I would start with “Leave Me Alone”. She sounds so carefree in that track. It always makes me smile when I listen to it.

By the way, if you’re a fan of the Final Fantasy XIII OST then you’ve probably heard Mr. Hamauzu and Mina work together. “Gapra Whitewood”, “Sulyya Springs” (FAVORITE!), and “Will To Fight” are the songs that come to mind. I believe that’s all they did for that soundtrack.

Okay, moving on. I’m going to post one of their music videos. It’s really adorable! Yep…I’m done being a goof.

For now.
